Walkaroo Foundation Expands Tailoring Training under Project Vazhvizhi
As part of Project Vazhvizhi, the second batch of tailoring training for 25 rural women was inaugurated at Pappampatti, reinforcing Walkaroo Foundation’s mission to empower women through skill development and livelihood opportunities. The program helps women master tailoring and find market opportunities to paving the way for financial independence and lasting change.
The first batch of training conducted earlier at Edayarpalayam, benefitted 20 women who gained hands-on experience in tailoring and garment-making techniques. By extending the initiative to more rural communities, Project Vazhvizhi continues to promote economic independence, confidence, and social empowerment among women helping them take active steps toward a sustainable and self-sufficient future.
