hold a special event. They organized a Free Eye Check and Cataract Surgery Camp at PUPS in Malumichampatty. The camp ran from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM and helped people from around 37 villages. A team of 25 members from Aravind Eye Hospital joined the event. The camp gave free cataract surgeries to 70 people, and 146 others got expert advice on what spectacles they needed. Overall, 573 people benefited from the camp.
